sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xrdp

Note: By entering sudo, you will be asked for the root password that you must enter.

Then enter the following command:

sudo apt-get install xfce4

sudo apt-get install xfce4-terminal
sudo apt-get install gnome-icon-theme-full tango-icon-theme

Then you need to create the .xsession file for the xfce4 configuration. To do this, enter the following command:

echo xfce4-session >~/.xsession

In the next step you need to enter the following commands:

nano /etc/xrdp/

The content of the file should look like this: (Note the last line)

#!/bin/sh if [ -r /etc/default/locale ]; then . /etc/default/locale export LANG LANGUAGE fi startxfce4

At this point you need to restart xRDP. Enter the following code for this:

sudo service xrdp restart
