Finally, you can start the compilation process using the following command:

make -j8
sudo make install

Note the important point below. You must create a symlink opencv4.pc file in the /usr/share/pkgconfig directory using the following command. Then you need to run ldconfig to restore the library cache.

sudo ln -s /usr/local/lib64/pkgconfig/opencv4.pc /usr/share/pkgconfig/ sudo ldconfig

You can now install OpenCV using the following command by checking the installed OpenCV version:

pkg-config --modversion openc

In the last step, you can use the following command to enable Python cv2 modules:

python3 -c "import cv2; print(cv2.__version__)"
