Step 1:
The latest LXQt version is not available from the default Ubuntu repository. So, use the commands below to start the installation:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt install lxqt sddm

For using GUI components like the taskbar, login manager, screensaver, icons, etc. you need to install Openbox. To install LXQT and Openbox package, run:
sudo apt-get install lxqt openbox -y

1- press Ctrl +Alt+ T to open a terminal tab
Note: If you switched to a TTY, switch back to the graphical server by pressing Ctrl + Alt + F7 +
2- Run the command below to install compizconfig-setting-manager
sudo apt-get install compizconfig-setting-manager
3- Run:
DISPLAY=:0 ccsm &
4- Finally, find the Unity plugin and Enable it.
